Abstract:
United States-Mexico Demographic Data Viewer (US-MEX DDViewer) is a web-based application providing rapid data mapping, viewing, and analysis for more than 200 demographic, social, vital statistic, and land cover variables for the United States and Mexico. A useful tool for browsing and visualizing patterns at geographic levels ranging from regions to counties/municipalities, US-MEX DDViewer can be used to map population, vital statistics, land cover, and household data. Map and attribute data output are displayed through a Java Applet. US-MEX DDViewer is produced by the Columbia University Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN).
The purpose is to provide rapid data mapping, viewing and analysis for more than 200 common variables for the U.S. and Mexico.
