Abstract: The GeoNorge metadata portal was an agency collaboration headed by the Norwegian Mapping Agency to provide web-based map and geographic services on the Internet. It involved cooperation of public agencies that have geographic responsibilities or are larger users of geographic information. Publication is open to data providers for both public and private users.
