Summary
Abstract: The Ocean Biology Processing Group (OBPG) is responsible for the production and distribution of the ocean color data products from the MODIS sensor on Aqua and from SeaWiFS. The Ocean Data Processing System (ODPS) allows users to visually search/browse the the ocean color data archive for many parameters and time periods and directly download and/or order the data and images directly from the ODPS. Users can also create time series plots of selected SeaWiFS, MODIS and OCTS Standard Mapped Images for a set of selected regions or the entire globe.

Description: The GES-DISC Interactive Online Visualization and Analysis Infrastructure (Giovanni) is the underlying infrastructure for a growing family of Web interfaces that allows users to analyze gridded data interactively online without having to download any data. Through Giovanni, users are invited to discover and explore our data using sophisticated analyses and visualizations.
