Summary

Abstract: The Global Environmental Health Supercourse site captures and classifies most the environmental health PowerPoint lectures on the web. The lectures include 550 from the Supercourse. In addition, there are links to environmental lectures in Spanish, Russian and Arabic and to the Environmental protection agency in Mexico because of our concerns for cross-language and cross country interoperability. We also have identified and classified all US Government links to global environmental health. It is interesting that EPA is the leader of the environmental health lectures, but there are many lectures from other agencies as well. We also have harvested and classified over 3 million lectures on environmental issues closely related to health This may become a central source for research and teaching in environmental health as we have seen with our other Supercourses. This Supercourse makes it easy for anyone to find a lecture or slide on Environmental health whether one is in EPA, NIH, Mexico, Russia, Harvard and communicate with the authors. It makes the environmental health more accessible and transparent to all agencies, disciplines and countries. This will likely reduce the silos in environmental health. [Summary provided by Ronald E.
