Summary
Abstract: The American Museum of Natural History presents Science Bulletins, an
innovative online and exhibition program that offers the public a window into
the excitement of scientific discovery.

Science Bulletins brings you the latest developments in the fields of
astrophysics, Earth science, and biodiversity through documentary Feature
stories about scientists in the field, cutting-edge data visualizations of
Earth and the cosmos, and Snapshot images of the natural world.

At the American Museum of Natural History and other science centers throughout
North America, Science Bulletins presents Astro, Earth, and Bio Bulletins as
updating streams of high-definition video content and interactive media. On
this Web site, Science Bulletins presents current topics in greater depth and
provides an archive of past stories and resource links for educators interested
in using Science Bulletins in the classroom.

Astro presents news of the observable Universe with Features, in-depth stories
about developments in astronomy and astrophysics; Astro Viz, interactive
three-dimensional visualizations of journeys through the cosmos; and weekly
Snapshots, images of stars, galaxies, and other cosmic subjects from
observatories around the world and in space.

Earth delves into our planet's secrets, uncovering the dynamic systems that
make Earth habitable. Features illustrate how scientists decipher Earth's
geology and climate; Snapshots report weekly earthquake and volcanic activity
that demonstrate the motion of Earth's tectonic plates; and Earth Viz presents
interactive satellite-views of our dynamic planet.

Bio brings you the latest in biodiversity research and conservation with
Features, in-depth stories about scientists at work around the globe; weekly
Snapshots of Earth from above that highlight natural ecosystems and the human
footprint on the landscape; and Bio Viz, interactive satellite-views of
seasonal and long-term changes in the biosphere.
