The SIR-C Educational CD-ROM (SIR-CED): "Seeing the Earth in a New Way" is an educational CD-ROM that contains worldwide radar images taken during the Spaceborne Imaging Radar-C (SIR-C) missions flown in 1994 on the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Preflight images are also included. SIR-CED contains lesson plans, presentation materials, and a teacher's guide. It can be used as part of Earth science, computing, or geography curriculums for junior high through university levels. The CD is formatted for UNIX, Macintosh, and PC platforms.
