Abstract:
The National Tsunami Hazard Mitigation Program
(http://nthmp-history.pmel.noaa.gov/) is a program designed to reduce the impact of tsunamis through hazard assessment, warning guidance, and mitigation. Information about tsunami detection buoys can be found through the Deep-ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunamis project (DART, http://nctr.pmel.noaa.gov/Dart/). Real-time data access for the DART buoys, US Earthquake (USGS), and NTHMP seismic waveforms is available. Other services and data products can be found at the NOAA Center for Tsunami Research (http://nctr.pmel.noaa.gov/index.html).
