Summary
Abstract: The Great Sumatra Earthquake and Indian Ocean Tsunami has claimed over 200,000
lives across countries including Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma,
Malaysia, the Maldives, and Somalia. PDC is collecting information resources
for the public on this disaster. The following Pacific Disaster Center website

contains key overview resources, PDC news and updates, and other information
products including preliminary damage maps for India, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri
Lanka, and Somalia.
