Summary
Abstract: The automatic weather stations at the Australian stations (Casey, Davis, Macquarie Island, and Mawson) were installed by the Bureau of Meteorology. They collect information on the following (in the following units):

date
Timehh:mm
wind speed knots
wind direction degrees
air temperature degrees celsius
relative humidity percent
air pressurehPa

Files ending in UT means date/time is in Universal Time. any other data files if present are in local time. Data are collected from the aws in 10 minute intervals and is grouped monthly and then yearly within the file structure.

wind direction (degrees)
air temperature (degrees celsius)
relative humidity (percent)
air pressure(hPa)
