Summary
Abstract: Quick-2, Version 1.0, is a Microsoft DOS hydraulic analysis program (similar to HEC-2) used to compute water-surface elevations in open channels. Quick-2 was developed to accompany the FEMA guidance manual titled, Managing Floodplain Development in Approximate Zone A Areas. Quick-2 is designed to assist community engineers, architect and engineering firms, developers, and others at the local level who may be required to develop Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) for Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs) that have been designated as Zone A.
