Summary
Abstract: Spectrum is a modeling system designed to assist decision makers explore and evaluate resource management choices. Models constructed with Spectrum apply management actions to landscapes through time and display resulting outcomes. Management actions are selected to achieve selected goals while complying with all identified management standards. Ecological process simulation can also be imbedded within a Spectrum model. Spectrum provides information and insight on management options and strategies; alternative pathways to desired outcomes; and the environmental and socio-economic implications of proposed management.

SpectraVision is an ArcView 3.x extension that facilitates linking a Spectrum model to map displays.
