Ask Jake, the Sea Dog is a question-answering and referral service designed to provide accurate marine science information for children (or adults). The site also features information pages about sea animals categorized by animal type, previously answered questions, links to similar sites, a reading list of books dealing with ocean animals, and the WhaleTimes Kids' page, with stories and puzzles. In WhaleTimes SeaStars users can send a registration fee which helps maintain the web site and promotes marine animal conservation. Contributions entitles users to receive a WhaleTime Newsletter subscription and a SeaStar certificate.
