Summary
Abstract: Adapted from Kentucky Atlas and Gazetteer Homepage: You can search the
Gazetteer by the name of a feature - a place, stream, road, etc. - and
optionally restrict the search to a specific county. If you are unsure of a
spelling add a question mark to the end of the name for extended searching. You
can also locate names by beginning or ending a partial spelling with an
asterisk. Plural and possessive forms seem to be used almost randomly, so the
search engine tries various combinations.
