Summary
Abstract: Precipitation is notoriously variable in California. View a map displaying the projected precipitation for each decade from 1950-2099 using a variety of climate models and scenarios. On average, the projections show little change in total annual precipitation in California. Furthermore, among several models, precipitation projections do not show a consistent trend during the next century.

Data Set Contributed: Projected Precipitation

Projected monthly precipitation. These data layers were downscaled using a bias correction and spatial downscaling (bcsd) approach and include data for four different models (PCM1, CCSM3, GFDL, CNRM) for two different scenarios (A2, B1).
