Abstract:
The data set presented herein is a version with geographic references from the on-line catalog (www.carcino.mn.ufrj.br) of the types collection from the Carcinology Sector of Museu Nacional/UFRJ. Descriptions of 318 species (distributed in 800 lots) were based in this collection that is very important to Carcinology, being a world reference in this research field.
