Quality Zooplankton were collected with an umbrella net deployed through an ice hole. Water samples were collected with a kemmerer bottle. The sediment traps were designed and constructed at the Australian Antarctic Division. Chlorophyll a samples were extracted and run on a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Particulate organic carbon samples were analysed with a CHN analyser. Zooplankton, phytoplankton and sediment trap samples were all examined with various types of microscopy.

The files provided in the download are quite old, and as such some of them were unable to be opened when they were archived. These files are still included as part of the download though.
