Quality
The Casey Station image mosaics were produced using ERDAS Imagine software. The photography consisted of 3 runs and 13 photos which were: ANTC1099 Run 11 frames 1, 3 and 7. ANTC1099 Run 12 frames 1, 2, 7, 11 and 13 and ANTC1099 Run 13 frames 2, 4, 7, 9 and 11. The scanned images were triangulated with ERDAS OrthoBase Pro. The RMS achieved was 0.7m for X and Y and 0.6m for Z. Ortho photography was then created using a DTM derived from contours supplied by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre. The images were colour balanced and mosaiced covering the entire Casey Station area. The Casey Station subset was then extracted from this image.
Access Constraints
The dataset is too large to be downloaded. For access to the data, contact the Australian Antarctic Data Centre to have a cd mailed to you.
