Summary
Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine aspects of the environmental physiology and phylogeography of Antarctic terrestrial invertebrates. Soil samples were collected from Granite Harbour for geochemical analysis of salinity, moisture and pH of the environment and later analysis of nematode phylogeography. Springtails were collected for field experiments investigating UV tolerance of these animals and for later DNA analysis. GPS locations of sites of collection is available.
