Abstract:
Observations were made on the behaviour and breeding success of penguins and skuas in areas of the Cape Bird northern colony subject to interference by man. Interferance being taken as the presence of man and/or man made objects. Areas free from interference except for the observers presence were observed as controls. 300 Adelie penguin and 24 McCormick skua nests were checked daily for eggs and chick success.
