Summary
Abstract: The Antarctic environment has recently been shown to support a high level of diversity of bacteria in the soil given the simplicity and extreme nature of the habitat. Understanding the relationship between soil biodiversity and ecosystem functioning is critical to predicting and monitoring the effects of ecosystem changes on important soil processes. This study investigated what environment ... View entire text

Quality Rainfall measurements from the different locations are compared to each other
and to the water levels recorded at those locations to check for
inconsistencies. Air temperature and humidity sensors are checked against
real-time data to check funtionality of equipment. These data are also compared
to those obtained from other nearby weather stations.
Access Constraints Requests for data should be directed to the DWP Research Coordinator. Data will
be provided in electronic format.
Use Constraints Any reports or publications presenting or referring to these datasets must be
approved by the DWP Research Coordinator prior to publication. Proper credit
must be given to DWP and The Nature Conservancy.
