Abstract:
Epibenthos samples were taken at 2100 each night from the 25 November until the 17 December, 1976 of the plankton and epibenthos immediately adjacent to the shore in front of the wet lab stationed at Cape Bird. The plankton samples were taken with a plankton net. Three hauls were taken and the lengths of each recorded. The epibenthos was sampled using an epibenthos sledge; only one haul was taken and the length of haul recorded. All specimens were preserved and deposited in the University of Canterbury's department collection.
