Corticosterone response of incubating Adelie penguins to the presence of people at Mandible Cirque, North Victoria Land - a rookery previously not visited by people 2004-2005
Abstract:
Approximately 20,000 pairs of Adelie penguins nest at Mandible Cirque on the northern Victoria Land Coast. This rookery had not previously been visited by people, providing the chance to compare responses to people between penguins at Mandible Cirque and those at Cape Bird that regularly see people during each breeding season.

The plasma samples are in the private laboratory freezers at the Institute of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences, Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. It is possible to provide plasma samples once the investigators measurements are made.
Access Constraints
