Summary
Abstract: ML2T_NRT is the EOS Aura Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) Near-Real-Time (NRT) product for temperature. This product contains daily temperature profiles taken from the 118 GHz O2 band. The most recent 7 days of data are available. Spatial coverage is near-global (-82 deg. to +82 deg. latitude), with each profile spaced 1.5 deg. or ~165 km along the orbit track (roughly 15 orbits per day). The recommended useful vertical range of NRT Ozone profiles is 261 to 0.001 hPa. There are about 96 NRT files per day containing roughly 15 minutes or less of data each.

Quality
The MLS NRT data are not as accurate as the retrievals that constitute the standard MLS products, but nevertheless the results are of scientific use and track the standard MLS products with reasonable fidelity. NRT temperature profiles are only recommended for scientific use at pressure levels from 178 hPa to 1 hPa.
