Abstract:
Climatic data resides in 1 book, 'Der Meteorologischen Beobachtungen
fur hei Klimattische Zwecke in Travemunde und Lubeck' (C/dc 221 V894)
written in German. The data contained in this book are tables of
daily and monthly surface climatic data for Travemunde and Lubeck in
Germany. These data are for the years 1929 and 1930. The 10-day
parameters included in these data are the following: mean air
... temperature, visibility, humidity, saturation deficit, and water
vapor content for different times of the day; mean maximum and minimum
air and water temperature, visibility, humidity, water vapor content,
saturation deficit and winds; absolute maximum and minimum air
temperature; number of days of maximum <0, min < 0, maximum > 25,
absolute and mean temperature fluctuation; mean wind speed; and
precipitation totals. There are five-day means of radiation.
Monthly totals incorporated in these data are the following: wind
direction frequency; calm wind frequency; mean wind speed; and mean
intensity of solar radiation; maximum precipitation totals; number
of sunshine hours; and number of days with rain, snow, hail, sleet,
thunderstorms, fog, and frost.
This book is part of the foreign meteorological data collection
held by the NOAA Central Library in Washington, DC. Information in this
collection dates back to the 18th century for daily, monthly,
seasonal, and annual tabular summaries, and the 19th century for
weather maps. These data are the result of foreign exchange
agreements, but the collection has not been updated since 1983.
