Abstract: The Animation Rendering operation creates sequential animated image output, in either animated GIF or MPEG, based on the images generated by previous visualization steps, or as basic mission/sensor image products.
Because of play back issues, the video is implemented as animated GIF at the moment, but may be switched to MPEG once the play back issues are resolved.
Notes: ... Each input image file is processed and becomes a frame of the output video file. If time stamps are present, the sequence of the files are checked to make sure that there is no missing frame in between. If a missing frame is found, a blank frame is inserted into the video. The missing frames are constructed based on the input frames so that dimensions of the missing frames are consistent with those of the inputs.
