Abstract:
Surface currents/circulation on Georges Bank are described from short-term
deployments (days) of surface drifters. Drifter positions and surface
temperatures are reported at various uniform intervals per hour. Drifters were
deployed during ten Spring cruises to the Georges Bank region, 1995 and
1997-1999 as part of the GLOBEC project.
