Abstract:
The Great Bay Coastal Buoy is located at 43.0853 degrees N and 70.8639 degrees W, near Portsmouth, NH. The buoy records a suite of measurements and these observations are updated regularly and compared to those from the last 13 years and then presented graphically on the Great Bay Coastal Buoy home page: http://www.cooa.unh.edu/data/buoys/great_bay/. Variables: Air temperature, wind speed, wind direction, wind gusts, relative humidity, barometric pressure, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll, turbidity, nitrate, DO % saturation, CDOM, PAR, ISUS RMS error.
The Great Bay Coastal Buoy is recovered in December and redeployed the following spring.
