Abstract:
KRILL is a database system developed to store information on euphausiid species in a fully digital way. The concept of storing data on biogeography, vertical and horizontal distribution and literature, pictures, was first developed for internal use in the Institut für Seefischerei. This database is currently not available on the internet. For Euphausiacea information on species worldwide is entered. Data on presence/absence is entered and where possible on density from field work as well as from literature records.
