The East European Situation and Outlook Tables contains data on
major economic indicators, gross and net hard currency debt,
grain imports and exports, area and production of major crops,
livestock inventories, production of livestock products, per
capita consumption of selected foods and U.S total and
agricultural trade with Eastern Europe. Data from Albania are
excluded because they are very ... incomplete. The database consists
of 17 tables; the original information was taken from yearbooks
of the respective countries, the yearbook of the Council for
Mutual Economic Assistance (CMEA), the Annual Trade Yearbooks of
the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United
Nations, and Plan fulfillment reports.
