Abstract:
The purpose of this data set is to evaluate stocking density
management effects on growth, yield, and resistance to damaging agents
in northern hardwoods. The dataset is a mixture of an organized set
of raw data, analyzed and summarized data, and progress reports. Data
are used to test stocking density hypotheses, to model stand growth,
and to develop silvicultural prescriptions for managers of
