Abstract:
The NOAA Operational Significant Event Imagery server offers satellite photos of significant environmental events worldwide. For each event users may view GIF and JPG images detailing this event. The events are broken down into the following categories: Current, Dust, Fires, Floods, Ice, Oil Spills, Snow Storms, Tornadoes, Tropical, Unique, and Volcanic. This archive will be continuously updated as significant events occur.
