Abstract:
Landsat MSS data has been available from 23rd of July 1972, the MSS data is available in 4 bands (4,5,6,7 of Landsat 1/2/3, and 1,2,3,4 of Landsat 4/5). Landsat 1/2/3 had an 18 day repeat cycle and Landsat 4 have a 16 day repeat cycle. The resolution is 80m.
This mosaic was constructed digitally using the Royal Aerospace Establishment (RAE) GEOBIG software. The pixels have been resampled to 100m. The raw data has been archived, but the processed data is not available. However, the mosaic is available as a digital product, or as photographic products (positive or negative). Price lists for these products are available, on request, from the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC).
