Abstract:
-
This experiment was started in 1966 in an area that was originally
steppe-forest. Later, the crops were
sainfoin,sainfoin,wheat,barley,pea (wheat).
The land uses in the experiment are: Rotation 1:
wheat,maize,maize,wheat; Rotation
2:wheat,maize,maize,wheat. Treatments: NPK fertilizers (20-40
treatments).
The soil at the site is classified as a Audodoll (USDA)
Apl 0-29 cm: greyish-brown, moist clayey-loam with small crumb
structure, plant residues, definite transition to the next layer. B
29-54
cm: dark brownish-grey, compact loamy-clay with granular structure,
infrequent ferric spots, low root density, definite transition. BC
54-68 cm: brownish-yellow, compact clay with polyhedral structure,
ferric spots and soft concretions, low root density, gradual transition.
C1 68-134 cm: yellowish-red, compact prismatic clay, few rootlets,
ferric spots and concretions, humus lessivation along the root holes,
gradual transition. C2 134-200 cm: reddish-yellow strongly compact loamy
clay, very few rootlets, frequent ferric concretions, large soft
lime spots, scattered humic spots, calcareous.
Nearest meteorological station to the site: Eger. which is 21 km from
the site at coordinates 20deg14min E, 47deg44min N The meteorological
station is manual.
