Description:

Abstract:: Reference maps show the location of the geographic areas for which census data are tabulated and disseminated. The maps display the boundaries, names and codes of standard geographic areas, as well as major cultural and physical features, such as roads, railroads, coastlines, rivers and lakes. Over 7,000 reference maps are available for the 2001 Census. Given the diversity in size of these geographic areas, different map scales and map coverages are required to show the appropriate level of detail. Reference Maps - Complete Set, 2001 Census, the complete set of all reference maps for the 2001 Census is available on demand as PDF files on CD-ROM. Catalogue number for CDROM: 92F0172XCB01000 ...for additional information visit our organization website.The maps are designed to enable users to identify the general location and boundaries of the geographic areas for which 2001 Cencus data are available.
