Title: Meterological data at a cold based glacier, Wright Lower Glacier, Wright Valley, Antarctica
Description:
Abstract:
Meterological information was measured at a temporary station on the surface of the Wright Lower Glacier. This station was erected in Nov 2004 and recorded air temperature, ablation at hourly intervals and ice temperature, with supplementary equipment installed in Oct 2005 to record relative humidity, net radiation, incoming and outgoing solar radiation and thermocouples for ice temperature. The additional equipment was removed in Jan 2006. Additional manual ice temperature measurements were made at four locations once per day during the 2005/06 season.
