Abstract:: 28 short (1.3 m) sediment cores were collected from beneath the Ross Ice Shelf using a gravity corer that was deployed through the ice shelf via holes made with the ANDRILL Hot Water Drilling System. Sediments post-date the Last Glacial Maximum.
