Abstract:: Soils in the region of the Robert Scott Glacier was surveyed and sampled. This project was undertaken in conjunction with work by R Katz and B Waterhouse from Geological Survey. The sites visited include Mt Mooney, La Gorce Basin, Mt Blackburn, Mt Russell, Griffith Glacier and Long Valley, Mt Zanuck and Zanuck Basin, Danfarth Ridge and O'Brien Peak.
