Centre for Resource and Environmental Studies, Australian National University
Data Center Description
The Centre for Resource and Environmental Studies (CRES) at the Australian National University is the only place in Australia where economists and hydrologists, historians and ecologists, anthropologists and soil scientists work together every day.
CRES offers a wide range of consulting services to private and government sectors. We have teams and individuals with extensive experience in probing and evaluating resource and environmental problems, and in communicating our findings. We bring multidisciplinary understandings of the interactions between people, institutions, natural resources and the environment to our consultancies.
CRES is an active member of the ANU's National Institute for the Environment (NIE). The NIE is an internal linking structure for coordinating the ANU's diverse environmental research, education and scholarship, and a vehicle to share the strengths of the University nationally and internationally.
