The Colgate University Geology Department conducts wide variety of
topics and geographically spans the globe. Current research sites
include not only the conterminous US but also Alaska, Russia, Venice,
the Galapagos Islands and Antarctica. Students involved in research
often travel to these locations and learn about field research
firsthand.
