The provincial geomatics centre providing products and services to
government and the public in geodesy, aerial photography, topographic
mapping, geographical names, and land records in support of Geographic
Information Systems.
The Surveys and Mapping Division is one of three divisions in the
Lands Branch of the Department of Government Services and Lands.
The functional Lines of Business in the Division are:
Geodesy - Providing the provincial standard spatial reference network.
Mapping - Providing standard base topographic maps.
Aerial Photography - Providing a provincial repository of aerial film
and reproduction services
Geographcal Names - Administers the provincial naming authority.
