Data Center Description
The Centre for Plant Diversity and Systematics built its reputation around the
work of Prof. Vernon Heywood, the Flora Europaea project and the UN Environment
Programme 'Global Biodiversity Assessment'. Today it is the Centre for Plant
Taxonomy in the NERC Taxonomy Institute, and houses the Secretariat of the
Species 2000 Programme.
