Central California Coastal Circulation Study Project Description
The Northern California Circulation Study (NCCCS) is a 5-year physical oceanography study of circulation on the continental shelf and upper slope between San Francisco and the Oregon border. Objectives: to obtain high-quality, direct and indirect current measurements with sufficient temporal and spatial resolution to describe primary advective processes and circulation in terms of statistics and dynamic processes.
