Project Description
This study investigates the breeding and feeding biology of Kelp Gull
at Antarctica. The study includes data on the following:
- Breeding chronology;
- Breeding success;
- Feeding tactics;
- Feeding times;
- Displacement behaviors;
- Pursuit behaviors; and
- Kleptoparasitic behaviors.

Periodic sampling of food items (Antarctic limpets, in particular)
is conducted to gather information on energetics and estimates of food
availability.
