In 1950, a juridical foundation, Japan Weather Association (JWA) was established as a public-service corporation in meteorology
under supervision of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and
Transport, Japan.
JWA is the biggest organization in the private sector of
meteorological field in Japan and we are providing all kinds of
meteorological services such as meteorological observation, data
processing and analysis, forecasting, disseminating, consulting
services, etc.
