Summary
ClimateStock is a project designed to help weather broadcasters present
reputable climate information in conjunction with their daily weather
programming. The public often does not understand the relation of weather to
climate or the relevance of climate changes to their everyday lives and
businesses. The weather broadcasting community plays a pivotal role in
... disseminating this information in accurate and easily understandable form.
ClimateStock materials should also prove useful to television newscasters, news
directors, and documentary producers.

ClimateStock is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and carried
out by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), a consortium
of over 60 universities with Ph.D. programs in atmospheric and related
sciences.
