Summary
The TNT products support fully integrated GIS, image processing, CAD, TIN,
desktop cartography, and geospatial database management. With TNT, you edit,
display, and present project materials in raster, vector, CAD, relational
database, and TIN formats.

MicroImages provides TNTlite as a free version of TNTmips, a professional
software for geospatial ... data analysis. The free TNTlite spatial data analysis
products can provide a user anywhere in the world with a personal set of tools
with which to learn the analytic techniques used with computer maps, images,
and related geodata. In addition, TNTlite lets professionals in any discipline
experiment with applications in new spatial data analysis technologies such as
GIS, image processing, and relational databases.

A single FREE TNTlite lets you accomplish projects that would be impossible
otherwise unless you bought and learned to use all the following products
(including optional modules):

ARCGIS,
ArcMAP,
MapInfo,
AutoCAD,
MicroStation,
PCI,
Erdas Imagine,
ER Mapper,
Envi.

TNTlite products are restricted only in the size of the geodata sets they can
use. They are identical to the TNT professional products in all other respects.

TNTlite is a free version of TNTmips and TNTview. It differs from
these other products in the project creation size capabilities.

Use Constraints
TNTlite is available for all popular networks and computer platforms: UNIX,
Windows, or MacOS.

If you choose to download the free datasets via command-line FTP directly, you
will notice that in addition to having all the project files conveniently
archived and compressed, you can access each .RVC individually in an
uncompressed format. Since the .RVC format is platform-independent, you can
download them singly as you need. Note: Be sure to always download .RVC files
in binary mode when using command-line FTP.
