Summary
Western Oregon Digital Imagery Project, WODIP is a vegetation mapping project
using Thematic Mapper Satellite data, existing field inventory data, and
advanced computer technology to produce a forest vegetation map of western
Oregon which conforms with the Interagency Vegetation Standards. This theme
contains land cover types, by watershed, for Western Oregon (west of the
Cascades to the coast) with attributes for cover type, forest species, forest
size, forest crown closure, and forest structure.
