Abstract: Breeding and feeding biology of Greater Sheathbill at Antarctica
and Argentine coast. Breeding chronology. Egg morphology and chicks
growth (weight, wing lenght, tarsus lenght, bill lenght). Breeding
sucess. Nest characteristics and daily weather conditions for the
analiysis of nest quality in relation to breeding sucess. Feeding
tactics, feeding times, activity and energetic budget. Displacements,
pursues, kleptoparasitic behaviours. Periodic sampling of food items
for the analysis of caloric contents and the estimation of their
availability.
