Russian Agricultural Climatic Soil Moisture Data in the Global Soil Moisture Data Bank
Entry ID:
GLOBAL_SM_DATABANK_RUSAGROCLIM
|
Summary
This data set consists of multi-year averages of plant available water content in agricultural fields of the former Soviet Union from 144 administrtative districts. Soil moisture observations were for the period 1946-1980 in the western part and 1927-1982 for the eastern part. Data are freely available from the Global Soil Moisture Data Bank at in ASCII and GrADS format: ftp://climate.envsci.rutgers.edu/pub/soil_moisture/RUSWET-AGROCLIM or ftp climate.envsci.rutgers.edu login as: anonymous Password: your email address cd pub/soil_moisture/RUSWET-AGROCLIM/
