Summary
Abstract:
Data were collected to test the following hypotheses: (1)
Grazing decreases plant longevity; (2) Semi-logarithmic model best describes plant population survivorship curve, and, (3) Recruitment to semi-desert plant populations occurs in pulses. Collection Organization: USDA/FS - U.S. International Biological Program Collection Methodology: Pantograph charts. Collection Frequency: Annually from 1930-1956 and 1973.
